Renge Haruto, a novelist who has lived since the Kamakura period, is a vampire with an aversion to blood. However, during a meeting one day, his editor suggests that he write his next manuscript within God of World, cutting-edge VRMMO game. With both excitement and anxiety, he steps into this new world, only to be greeted by sunlight for the first time in hundreds of years and a variety of delicious foods that he could never enjoy in reality.
